EASY Last Minute Halloween Costumes!

We’ve all been there. It’s two days before Halloween, and you don’t have a costume for yourself let alone your kids. Each year you promise yourself you’ll get your act together and buy costumes a month ahead.

You can stop stressing. I’ve gone ahead and done the work for you! Listed below I’ve gathered fun, simple DIY costumes for the whole family! Some of the costumes require a little crafting, while others can be created from items you already have in your closet!

Women:

Rosie the Riveter:

If you’re a fierce, independent woman, there’s no better way to show it than with the Rosie the Riveter costume. Plus, it’s so easy! All you need is a pair of jeans, a denim shirt/jacket and a red bandana.

1920’s Flapper: Everyone knows the swinging 1920’s was great time to be alive. The fashion was fun and classy. You can instantly become a Flapper as well with a little black dress, a boa, and a headband.

Mary Poppins: Mary Poppins is a classic, and her uniform is easy to recreate. All you need is a black pencil skirt, white button down, black pumps, a pillbox hat and an umbrella.

I've listed my top 3 favorite, but if you're looking for more inspiration and details on these outfits, click here.

Best Friends:

I don't know about you, but Halloween is always more fun with friends, and what a better way to celebrate than dressing up with your bestie! I love this article from Lauren Conrad. There are ten fun ideas to try!

Kids:

Panda Bear: A panda bear costume is too cute for words. This costume is sure to bring a smile to everyone’s face on Halloween night. You’ll need: a black onesie, white hat, half sheet of black felt, one sheet white felt, scissors, hot glue gun, two safety pins. You’ll use the felt to create the face and the hot glue to pull it all together, for further instructions click here.

Scuba Diver: How cute is this costume? The best part is, it’s really easy to re-create. You’ll need: 2 liter bottles, spray paint, goggles, snorkel, electric tape, black pants and t-shirt. For details click here.

Men:

Ace Ventura: Everyone loves the movie Ace Ventura, and you are sure to get some great laughs from this costume. No assembly needed, belt your striped pajama pants, and grab your dad’s Hawaiian shirts and you’re ready to go.

Duck Dynasty: This may be the easiest costume as it only requires camo, and a fake beard. It’s easy, and everyone will know just who you are. You may also want to check out the rest of the costumes on this site for more fun ideas!

No matter what you go as this year, the most important thing is to have fun (and eat loads of candy)!
